How easy is it to get custody of your children back if you marry the father of one of the children?
My daughter gave me custody of her two children. The fathers of the children signed the agreed change of custody as well. One of the fathers (Dad %26quot;A%26quot;) is wanting a DNA test because he has doubts. The other father (Dad %26quot;B%26quot;) has already taken a DNA test and is, indeed, the father. If Dad %26quot;A%26quot; turns out to be the father and decides to marry my daughter, will the courts give custody back to them because of this? Or, will they still have to be able to prove that they are fit to care for the children. Did I forget to mention that Dad %26quot;A%26quot; has a violent temper and has shook his child? How easy is it to get custody of your children back if you marry the father of one of the children? He will have to go to court and prove that he is fit. The courts will look at why he gave the child away in the first place and the mother too. Probably but not for sure it depends on the judge they will get at least visitation at first, then if they prove fit and the judge decides then they may get custody. You need a really good lawyer but if the parents prove to the judge that they are indeed better parents than before then they will be awarded custody.
